Beatrice Madach has been living and working in St. Gallen since 2020. Born in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, she studied Cultural Studies with a focus on Theatre and Media in Hildesheim before completing a Masters in Documentary Film Directing in Auckland, New Zealand. Upon graduating, she started her own business, initially producing image and event films on commission. Since 2019, she has been offering “Video School”, an online programme for self-employed professionals interested in attracting business through online video marketing.

Beatrice Madach came to know the J. S. Bach Foundation in 2024 while working as the social media manager for St. Gallen’s concert hall and theatre. She is looking forward to creating new content about Bach’s cantatas for the Foundation’s social media channels, as well as documenting the cantatas and sharing the Foundation’s recordings. She would also like to create content about Bach’s life and the context of his work, capture the perspectives of musicians and other personalities involved in the project, not least the Foundation’s cantata audiences, and allow them to inspire her future work.

In her free time, Beatrice Madach enjoys spending time with her two stepchildren, developing new plays with her theatre collective “Après Theater”, and attending dance or theatre evenings and concerts.
